Cornwall Sunset Magic

Family Photography on Holiday in Cornwall, Tregantle Beach.

I was so happy when Tessa contacted me about a family session. They had just booked a holiday in Cornwall and wanted to combine it with a beach family session. I had met these guys before when they became parents the first time around and couldn’t be happier to meet up with them again as a family of four.

We decided on a sunset session at one of my favourite beaches on Cornwall’s south coast, Tregantle bay. It was the perfect spot for our photoshoot, and man, the weather did not disappoint either.

The beach is such a wonderful location for a family shoot. Somewhere you can be yourselves and enjoy some beautiful unplugged time together. Splashing in the sea, snuggles in the sunset, there’s nothing better. Just look at the connection between this mother and her boys. This is what a session with me is all about.

Wanderlust

I love to wander with you and allow the children to set the session’s pace. The session’s carefree nature allows for children (and parents) to relax and be themselves, and I capture the magic of you as you are and the relationships between you all. I focus on the family unit and all the little moments whilst grabbing individual shots and some snuggly couples photos at the end, which I love because it’s often the first time you have professional photographs of you guys as a couple since your wedding photos. I love to remind my clients that it’s important to document your love for each other and you as parents; this is why I love family shoots so much, so many beautiful dynamics, and so much love.
